Review of Bunn NHBX Coffee Maker

Recently I decided to buy a decent coffee maker. My last one was a GE model purchased from a discount store for under $30, it worked well for few months until one morning it just stopped to function and I was left without my morning caffeine supply. Being all upset about it, I swore never to go that cheap again. So I checked some products on the net and found I liked one design by Bunn. Its stainless steel look certainly would go good with my other kitchen appliances.

It proved to be interesting buy. First of all, setting it up to work properly is certainly not “plug it in and wait” option as it took me about fifteen minutes to get it ready to work properly with the help of company provided instructions.

Secondly, the quality of the coffee it provides is excellent. I can actually smell the coffee upstairs once it starts brewing in the kitchen, and that is what I really appreciate in the morning.

Speed of the brew is fast, so you can get your cup within three minutes. But there is a catch to that. That is done by a constantly heated water tank which thus uses energy throughout the day. Being a energy conscious consumer, I like to switch the warming container off during weekends when I do not need a fast cup of coffee in the morning.

Its capacity of ten cups serves the needs of all even when in-laws drop by. All in all, it is a very sturdy machine that I believe will outlast all the other coffee makers I had, and I am quite satisfied I purchased it.*
